WP5 DEMTRAIN at Alzheimer’s Europe Conference, Berlin 2017

Dr Siobhan Reilly and Dr Faraz Ahmed from the Neighbourhoods & Dementia Work Programme 5 at Lancaster presented preliminary findings on their organisational survey of dementia training in acute hospitals across England at the Alzheimer’s Europe Conference in Berlin (2-4 October 2017). This was also a great opportunity to build on developing an international profile and presence of their study. The next stage involves surveying staff members at 24 acute NHS hospitals in the New Year. The research team wish to thank Garstang Memory Café for their involvement through consultation, to help develop the staff survey tool. Please contact Faraz Ahmed (f.ahmed5@lancaster.ac.uk ) for more information.
