- Work Programme 3 is pleased to welcome Andrew Harding in December 2016 as the lead study Research Associate based at Lancaster University.
- Dr Hazel Morbey and Dr Carol Opdebeeck presented at the British Society of Gerontology Annual Conference in Stirling on 5-8 July 2016 “What is important to people with dementia?”
- Dr Siobhan Reilly and Dr Hazel Morbey presented at the annual meeting of the COMET Initiative: COMET VI held in Amsterdam on 10-11 November 2016 entitled “Constructing the long list of outcomes: what can we learn methodologically?”
- In April and May 2017 Work Programme 3 researchers are collaborating with local groups in order to involve people living with dementia and their care partners in the study. We especially acknowledge the support of Garstang Memory Café, Parbold Dementia Café and Halton Memory Café for their feedback and input to the Delphi survey design and study materials.
Members of the team attended and produced a poster for the Centre for Ageing Research (C4AR) Dementia Futures Day on 19 September 2016.
Work Programme 3 are working with local user groups in order to involve people with dementia and their carers in the study. WP3 will present their study at a coming public event “Dementia Futures” on 18.09.15 at Lancaster Town Hall.
