Work for Work Programme 4

Work Programme 4 (Understanding neighbourhood impacts). Our contribution to WP4 will be to develop a decision analytic economic model, which is able to account for the main care pathways. This model will then be used to explore the potential cost effectiveness of the impact of neighbourhood enhancements (including collaborative community action pathways and service delivery). The model will be populated with data from WP1 (Generating neighbourhood profiles of cognitive ageing and service use) and literature review.

Salford INSPIRE

We are delighted to announce that Joy Watson (facilitator) and Emma Smith (support worker) have been appointed to run the newly established Salford INSPIRE (Age UK, Salford), funded by Work Programme 1 of the Neighbourhoods and Dementia Study. Thanks to Jean Mann, Dave Haynes and Mary Ann Byrne for their support over the last 12 months (and beyond) to make this happen. These are very exciting times!
